As a Talent Advisor at Total Talent Advisors, LLC, you will be expected to fulfill a variety of responsibilities to ensure the successful delivery of recruitment services and to support the overall strategic objectives of our clients. Your role will involve direct interaction with clients and candidates, as well as collaboration with internal teams. The following expectations outline your key responsibilities and contributions:
1. Candidate Management:
o Engagement: Provide an exceptional candidate experience throughout the recruitment process. Ensure timely communication, offer constructive feedback, and address any concerns or questions candidates may have.
o Assessment: Conduct comprehensive candidate assessments, including interviews, skills evaluations, and reference checks. Ensure candidates are evaluated fairly and aligned with client expectations.
o Follow Up Interviews: Conduct follow-up interviews with hired candidates one week after hire and again 3 to 6 months later. The purpose of these interviews is to: Ensure everything went well during their first week; Address any questions they may have; Ask if they have any referrals for potential hires.
2. Business Engagement:
o Travel and Networking: Represent IES Residential at job fairs, industry conferences, and other recruiting events. Travel as required to attend these events, engage with potential candidates, and promote our clients’ employment opportunities.
o Hiring Events: Plan, organize, and conduct hiring events, including recruitment drives and open house sessions. Ensure these events are well-executed and meet client hiring needs.
o Site Visits: Conduct site visits to client locations to gain a deeper understanding of their work environment, culture, and specific recruitment requirements. Use insights from these visits to refine recruitment strategies and improve client satisfaction.
3. Strategic Recruitment:
o Collaborative Development: Work closely with division managers at IES Residential to develop and implement effective recruiting strategies. Utilize insights from division managers to align recruitment efforts with broader business goals and market demands.
o Strategy Optimization: Continuously assess and enhance recruitment strategies based on market trends, client feedback, and performance metrics. Propose innovative solutions to address recruitment challenges and improve outcomes.
4. Team Leadership and Development:
o Coaching and Mentoring: Coach and mentor the Candidate Engagement Specialist to enhance their skills and performance. Provide guidance, support, and constructive feedback to help them develop effective candidate engagement strategies and improve their recruitment capabilities.
o Collaboration: Foster a collaborative environment within the recruitment team, sharing best practices, insights, and strategies to achieve collective success.
5. Metrics and Data Integrity:
o Data Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of recruitment activities, including candidate pipelines, hiring progress, and event outcomes. Ensure data integrity and consistency across all recruitment-related documentation.
o Reporting: Develop and provide regular reports on recruitment metrics, such as time-to-fill, and candidate source effectiveness. Use data-driven insights to drive improvements in recruitment strategies and processes.
o Analysis: Analyze recruitment data to identify trends, patterns, and areas for improvement. Utilize findings to refine recruitment practices and enhance overall effectiveness.
6. Market and Industry Awareness:
o Research: Stay abreast of industry trends, labor market conditions, and competitive landscape. Apply this knowledge to inform recruitment strategies and offer valuable insights to clients.
o Adaptability: Adjust recruitment approaches based on evolving market trends, client needs, and emerging best practices.
