Class A CDL Driver | Amazon Freight Partner Program (Kansas City)

Join a local transportation company partnering with the Amazon Freight Partner Program. This opportunity offers the stability of Amazon Freight combined with the personal feel of a locally operated team. We are hiring enthusiastic, motivated Class A CDL Drivers for our rapidly expanding operations. Please note: You will be employed directly by the local transportation company, not by Amazon.Compensation & Benefits

1. Strong Pay: Starting at $22 – $25 per hour, or $65,000+ annually (with the opportunity to earn $80,000+ through additional shifts).

Work Environment & Schedule

1. Home Time: Consistent home time after every shift. Choose between daily local routes (approx. 300-500 miles round trip) or a predictable 4 days on / 4 days off schedule.
2. Routes: Solo 1 and Solo 2 options available. SOLO2 routes feature two, two-day runs with comfortable sleeper resets, followed by four consecutive days off.
3. Equipment: Operate modern, Amazon-branded sleeper trucks. SOLO2 routes include vehicles equipped with a fridge/freezer, microwave, TV, and APU. All trucks utilize the latest Amazon technology.
4. Freight: Consistent, year-round work with a minimum of 40 hours per week. Deliveries are primarily 100% no-touch freight (drop and hook), with occasional live loads.

Key Responsibilities

1. Ensure all orders are delivered safely and on time to exceed customer expectations.
2. Operate structured, repeatable routes using modern navigation tools and technology.

Qualifications & Requirements

1. Age: Must be at least 21 years old.
2. License: Valid Class A Commercial Driver License (CDL).
3. Experience: 1+ year preferred; strong newer drivers will be considered.
4. Documentation: Must pass a DOT physical and pre-employment drug screen.
5. Record: Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) and good DAC Report. No current CDL suspension or revocation.
6. Technology Skills: Must be comfortable using handheld devices, smartphone applications, and GPS systems.
7. Availability: Must be comfortable working nights and weekends (Saturday or Sunday, varies by shift).
