Class A CDL Driver – Regional Amazon Freight

Compensation and Benefits:

  1. Hourly pay: $22–$25 per hour, based on experience, safety, attendance, and

performance

  1. Strong weekly earnings: Potential to earn approximately $1,400 or more per

week when working two shifts, depending on hourly rate, assigned hours, and

applicable overtime

  1. Weekly pay: Direct deposit with same-day pay access available through our

payroll provider

  1. Sign-on bonus: $600 on successful completion of probationary period and

Your Role:

  1. Operate Amazon-branded sleeper tractors to safely transport primarily no-touch

freight between Amazon facilities

  1. Perform required pre-trip and post-trip inspections
  2. Safely couple and uncouple trailers when required
  3. Follow all DOT regulations, company safety policies, and dispatch instructions
  4. Use Amazon applications, GPS, electronic logs, and onboard technology
  5. Communicate professionally with dispatchers, facility personnel, and other team

members

  1. Help us meet and exceed customer expectations through safe, dependable, and on-time service

Minimum Qualifications:

  1. At least 21 years old
  2. Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License and minimum 6 months Driving

experience on commercial vehicles.

  1. Driving record that meets company and insurance requirements
  2. Ability to satisfy applicable DOT driver-qualification requirements
  3. Ability to pass a DOT physical examination
  4. Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening
  5. Satisfactory background check, conducted in accordance with applicable law
  6. Ability to read and speak English sufficiently to understand traffic signs, respond

to official inquiries, communicate with the public, and complete required reports

and records

  1. Basic technical ability to operate mobile applications, GPS, electronic logs, and

onboard truck technology

  1. Ability and willingness to work assigned afternoon, evening, overnight, weekday, and weekend schedules
