We are hiring CDL-A drivers to operate regional dedicated Amazon Freight routes out of Richmond, Va. 1. Compensation: Starting at $23.50 hr (OT after 40hr) based on experience/qualifications with benefits and bonus eligibility
2. Bonus Eligibility: $500 sign-on/safety/performance bonus, referral bonus, and clean DOT inspection incentive
3. Schedule: Consistent weekly schedule, home every other day
4. Equipment: Brand-new Amazon-branded sleeper tractors with professional driver support equipment
5. Freight: 100% no-touch Amazon freight
6. Employment: W-2 position

What You’ll Do

1. Haul Amazon freight on dedicated regional routes
2. Drive brand-new Amazon-branded sleeper tractors
3. Run Solo 2 routes designed to return home the next day – these are single runs and NOT team runs
4. Operate 100% no-touch freight
5. Work a minimum of 40 scheduled hours per week, with opportunities for additional shifts and overtime when available
6. Communicate with dispatch and follow Amazon Relay, DOT, yard, and safety procedures
7. Help us deliver safe, secure, professional, and on-time service every run

Minimum Requirements

1. Must be at least 21 years old
2. Valid Class A CDL
3. Must pass DOT physical
4. Must pass pre-employment drug screen
5. Must successfully pass background and driver qualification review
6. No current CDL suspension or revocation
7. Clean MVR and acceptable driving record
8. Must be able to speak, read, and write English as required by DOT/FMCSA regulations
9. Must be able to use handheld technology, smartphone applications, GPS, and Amazon Relay
10. Must be safety-minded, dependable, professional, and willing to follow dispatch, yard, DOT, and customer procedures
11. 6 plus months of experience preferred
