CDL-A Drivers -Home Daily ( Overnight Shifts)

Job Title: Class-A CDL Driver – Full-Time

(Will be paid even during dead miles)

Schedule: Overnight – 3 days per week (2 weekdays and 1 weekend day), with 13–14 hour shifts

Position Overview: A proud partner in the Amazon Freight Partner program is seeking reliable and safety-focused Class A CDL drivers to join our growing team in Allentown, PA. This is a full-time overnight position offering consistent routes, modern equipment, and the benefit of being home daily or at the end of every shift.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Safely operate Amazon-branded CNG tractors to transport freight between designated locations
2. Haul 53’ dry van trailers and Amazon intermodal containers
3. Perform drop-and-hook operations with occasional live loads
4. Ensure all freight is handled safely and efficiently (100% no-touch freight)
5. Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections to maintain safety and compliance
6. Pick up and return trucks to the Allentown yard as scheduled
7. Adhere to all DOT regulations and company safety policies
8. Maintain accurate logs using electronic logging devices (ELDs)
9. Communicate effectively with dispatch and team members

Schedule & Hours:

1. Full-time, averaging 40 hours per week
2. Overnight shifts averaging 13–14 hours
3. Drivers are home daily or after each shift
4. Routes typically average 300–500 miles round trip
5. Schedule includes two weekdays and one weekend day (Saturday or Sunday)
6. Overtime opportunities available based on performance and business needs

Equipment:

1. Newer, well-maintained Amazon CNG tractors
2. Primarily drop-and-hook freight with minimal live loading

Qualifications:

1. Valid Class A CDL
2. Minimum of 21 years of age
3. Clean driving record
4. Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
5. Strong commitment to safety, reliability, and punctuality
6. Previous Class A driving experience preferred but not required
