Compensation: $25.00/hour base, plus bonuses

WHAT YOU’LL NEED:

1. Be At least 21 years of age with a clean driving record.
2. Valid CDL A license and an acceptable MVR and PSP / DAC Report
3. Valid DOT Physical
4. Ability to pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
5. Minimum of 6 months OTR experience or 1 year of local experience. Newer drivers with at least 3 months of clean OTR experience may be offered training opportunities. On-the-spot job offers contingent upon meeting eligibility requirements.

WHAT’S EXPECTED:

1. Fluently speak, read, and write in English
2. Able to use handheld technology and smartphone apps daily for ELD and trip navigation (especially iPhone devices)
3. Able to pass Driving Evaluation: lane management, turning, coupling, and backing and parking
4. Flexible with work schedule (Day/Evening/Night shifts/Weekends/Holidays), although schedule is very consistent.
5. Knowledgeable of proper resting techniques for safe nighttime driving.
6. Knowledgeable of HOS requirements and basic ELD operation
7. Able to meet safety and performance standards, and be coachable and amicable

You will not be employed by Amazon, instead, you will be working directly for a local transportation company that partners with Amazon.
