Local CDL-A Driver (Amazon Intermodal & Dry Van – 3-Day Week)
Chicago, IL | 3 Days/Week – 13-Hour Shifts | $28/hr + Benefits
We’re hiring dependable CDL-A drivers to haul Amazon intermodal containers and dry van trailers across the Chicago metro area. Enjoy home-daily routes, a consistent 3-day workweek (≈39–40 hrs), and more time off while earning steady pay.
Compensation: $28/hr | Approx. $1,120/week
Benefits: Health insurance, 401(k), PTO, paid holidays (Full-Time)
Home Daily – No overnight runs
What You’ll Do:
• Haul Amazon intermodal containers from rail yards and local facilities
• Move 4–6 containers/trailers per 13-hour shift
• Follow all DOT and company safety procedures
• Perform pre/post-trip inspections and maintain ELD compliance
• Communicate with dispatch on load status
What You’ll Need:
MUST HAVE RAILYARD EXPERIENCE &
• Valid Class A CDL and active DOT medical card
• 1+ year CDL-A experience (intermodal/Amazon Relay preferred)
• Clean driving record and solid communication skills
• No TWIC card required
