An “Amazon delivery associate ZL” is a delivery driver for a Delivery Service Partner (DSP) that specializes in last-mile deliveries through Amazon Logistics (AMZL). You would be delivering standard-sized packages, not large or oversized items. As a delivery associate, you work for an independent third-party company (the DSP) that contracts with Amazon. The DSP is responsible for hiring and managing the drivers.

Key duties and responsibilities
– Deliver packages on time to customers on a predetermined route using an Amazon-branded vehicle.
– Provide excellent customer service and be professional and courteous during deliveries.
– Safely operate the delivery vehicle in all weather conditions, while following all local and state laws.
– Use a company-provided smartphone device for GPS navigation, scanning packages, and communicating with the support team.
– Load and unload packages from the delivery vehicle each shift.
– Perform pre- and post-trip inspections of the vehicle.
– Support your team by assisting other drivers with their routes when needed.
Physical requirements and work environment
Physically demanding: Be prepared for a fast-paced and active role.
Lift and carry packages: You will need to lift packages weighing up to 50 pounds.
On the move all day: The job involves a lot of walking, standing, and repeatedly getting in and out of a van.
Navigate diverse conditions: You will climb stairs, squat, bend, and deliver packages in all types of weather.
Work independently: You will spend most of your day on the road by yourself.
